Lito Villamil brings with him over three decades of solid experience and leadership in the insurance and reinsurance industry. He began his career with FGU Insurance Corporation (now BPIMS Insurance Corporation), part of the prestigious Ayala Group, and went on to hold key positions in several respected insurance companies, including Provident Insurance Corporation (now Oona Insurance), MAAGAP Insurance (formerly MAA General), and Fortune General Insurance.

Lito’s most remarkable professional chapter was with KRM Reinsurance Brokers Philippines, a Kuok Group company from Malaysia, where he devoted 20 years of his career and rose through the ranks to become General Manager. Under his leadership, KRM consistently ranked as the No. 1 Reinsurance Broker in the Philippines for nearly seven consecutive years in terms of premium production and brokerage income—an achievement that reflects his business acumen, client trust, and strong industry network.

A well-respected figure in the reinsurance community, Lito has represented the Philippines in major international conferences such as the East Asian Insurance Congress (EAIC) and the Singapore International Reinsurance Conference (SIRC). He has also built an extensive network of reinsurance partners across Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, and London.

Locally, Lito is an active member of several professional organizations, including the Philippine Insurers Club, Reinsurance Exchange Club of the Philippines (RECP), Society of Underwriters for Property and Casualty Insurance, Inc. (SOUND), Junior Insurance Executive Circle (JIEC), and the KAIBA Group.
